1st edition, small hardback, no dust jacket.  80 pages, 16 black & white photo plates.  Good clean copy;  spine ends and corners a little bumped, binding is cracked internally in one place, but no loose pages.  Some age discolouration to end papers, no marks or inscriptions, apart from faint pencil price on fep.

In this book, Pat Landsberg, the well known cricket reporter, has traced the story of Jack Hobbs's life from his early days, to the celebration of the great cricketer's 70th birthday.   Final chapter "Then and Now"  by Hobbs himself.
