David Fasold dedicated years of his life and much of his own money to search for Noah's Ark. This is the account of his discovery, not on Mount Ararat, but on Mount Mahser Dagi (the Doomsday Mountain,) some seventeen miles to the south.
He believed he had succeeded when the dimensions of his discovery matched up exactly to those given in the book of Genesis. The site was sealed off by the Turkish authorities and officially declared the landing place of Noah's Ark by the Turkish Government.
The author spent nearly twenty years as a marine salvage expert, an experience which proved invaluable during his expedition to find the ark.
