The author is an amateur breeder and grower of this popular plant, with many years experience. He has selected a few of the stories involving them and has devoted some chapters to the differing characteristics of many of the varieties. His list of worthwhile varieties is an excellent guide for the newcomer when making initial purchases, and he has explained how to use greenhouses to best advantage.
There is a final chapter on Pelargonium and Geranium Societies + twin societies for Pelargonium, Geranium and Fuschias.
