Some age browning to pages and light handling wear to covers; dj is a little worn and chipped at edges with a small stain on rear flyleaf. Overall a nice clean copy. The story of (Sir) Francis Chichester's epic solo voyage around the world in his 53 foot ketch. He was 65 years old when he set out from Plymouth in September 1966 and set a course for Sydney. His journey had its fair share of problems and dangers but Chichester tells his story with humour and modesty, underplaying the courage needed by anyone who undertakes such a challenging and dangerous voyage.
