 1st ed hardback in dj.  A very nice clean, crisp copy.  No previous owner marks;  the letter D has been marked in blue on the rear free end paper but there is no damage to the text or covers.  The dj is a little rubbed and mildly curled at edges, no tears but there is a faint mark on the inside front flyleaf where the cover has been fixed to the hard cover by sellotape or similar.  Altogether a very good copy of this scarce bookThe author takes a fresh look at the origins, history and process of transmission of the alchemical art.  He discovers new facts about Fulcanelli and from trips to France gained contact with leading modern theorists and exponents of alchemy at work in the world today. A chapter by Paul Mevryl examines prophecies encoded in an ancient stone monument which was highlighted by Fulcanelli in his classic wor k ' Le Mystere des Cathedrales.'
