1st edition hardback in dj. Lavishly illustrated with colour photos by Linda Burgess 160 pages. In very good condition, binding straight and tight, minimal handling wear; three word comment against one recipe inside, otherwise clean and unmarked, barely discernible age discoloration to page edges. Dj is rubbed on top edge with small tears to top of spine, now in removable vinyl covering. Overall a very nice copy. A wonderful book of recipes using a wide variety of herbs and aromatics. Geraldine Holt is a founder member of the Guild of Food Writers and is considered to be 'up there' with Elizabeth David and Jane Grigson. Her cooking first reached the public with her WI Cake Stall and she is an authority on French Cuisine and the many aspects of growing and cooking food. Her herb garden in the Ardeche in France is a triumph and open to the public.
