1st edition thus, hardback in dj.143 pages + index. Originally published in Swedish as Applikation- lappteknik Quilting by ICA Bokforlag, Vasteras, Sweden. Lavishly illustrated with colour and b&w photos + line drawings. A very nice clean copy, negligible bumping on lower corners of hardcovers, dj has minimal shelf wear to edges. No marks or inscriptions, some very mild 'waviness' to upper borders of text and overall in very good condition. The author offers original ideas for quilting and sometimes combines them with applique and Patchwork. She uses quilting to make, mend, patch and alter clothes, and to create accessories such as toys, soft furnishings, pictures and wall hangings. Not really a book for beginners, it encourages inventiveness in those with some degree of skill, but can also serve to inspire anyone who wishes to explore the potential of quilting.
